Our Story

Hi there! My name is Louise Bates For as long as I can remember I've loved making things and have known Art is an important aspect of my life.

I gained my degree in Printed Textiles Design at Loughborough and trained as an Art Teacher at Bretton Hall College, Wakefield. I've had a long and enjoyable career teaching Art in some of the best secondary schools in Yorkshire, such as Crossley Heath School and Heckmondwike Grammar School.

I have set up my own Art business as it's always been a dream of mine to draw and create for a living.

I live in West Yorkshire with my husband, two grown up children and our two dogs.

I want to provide custom made Art that's unique and meaningful. Whether its a pet, person or landscape let's celebrate it with a piece of Art!
